Escape Goats offers two great pack goat training seminars that will allow you to work first hand with the goats.
Join Escape Goats guides for a fun day learing about pack goats and how to handle them. The one day seminar covers how to choose a pack goat, general care, health issues, types of goat tack and training. Learn how to pack panniers and handle the goats on the trail as you hike into the Escalante Canyons to practice what you have learned.
Our 3 day training seminar is available March thru October. We have great group rates available. After learning how to pack your panniers we take the goats out for a fun camping trip where you get to have lots of hands on training with the goats as we pack into the wilderness and set up a camp. Meals are provided so just bring your sleeping bag and a sence of adventure and come learn about pack goats!
